In collaboration with Abercrombie & Kent, Mountain Travel Sobek and Academic Travel Abroad, The New York Times launched Journeys.com.
I was employed to write all of the copy for the website, brochures, marketing material and catalogue. The website was officially launched in November 2014.
In 2012, I joined Boat International Media as a content editor on a freelance project to help launch Charterfleet.com - the new superyacht charter website aimed at new and current superyacht charterers. A few months later i was asked to join as the launch editor.
"When Nicci joined our team in the summer of 2012, it felt like an answer to a prayer. We were in the middle of a major new website project, and the amount of content we needed to produce was extremely daunting. But Nicci’s writing skills and knowledge of the web, as well as her understanding of our audience (high net worth individuals) and subject matter (luxury travel) meant that she was able to hit the ground running, exactly what we needed! Even more importantly, her positive attitude and bubbly personality helped keep us all sane as the project progressed! She initially joined us on a short-term contract to help us with the launch, but we were so impressed that we offered her a permanent role as editor of the new site. Nicci was a fantastic member of our team, and I am delighted to recommend her"

In 2010, I joined Destinations of the World News as the digital editor and within a year I was working with an international team of designers and web developers to redesign the entire website. We launched nine months later, under budget and within the deadline.
In 2009, I took over the role of online editor to relaunch the brand new website. I incorporated new sections, including travel which became the most looked at section on the site.
